A multilingual play with surtitling integrated into the set design.
Panthea worked closely with director Didier Ruiz and his team to develop a specialised surtitling system for his production Trans, performed intermittently in Catalan, Spanish, and French. We proposed using integrated mapping software to project French surtitles onto a scrim at the back of the stage, so that text was displayed above or beside the actor speaking at any time.
