Developed and trialled specially for the Festival d’Avignon, these customisable translation glasses designed by Panthea/Theatre in Paris allow users to select their preferred language or access captions for the hearing-impaired. The surtitle text then appears on the lenses, overlaid onto the stage, which remains fully visible.
