In 2025, Panthea supported the modernization of surtitling in three prestigious Viennese institutions:
The MusikTheater an der Wien, a historic opera house where Mozart and da Ponte made history, the Ronacher and the Raimund Theater, all three dedicated to musical theater and members of the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW). After training their teams over the summer, these theaters now use our Spectitular software for their surtitling services. The Theater an der Wien goes even further by offering surtitles on individual screens thanks to panthea.live, an ideal solution for audience members with limited visibility of the main screen.
It should be noted that shortly afterwards, at the International Opera Awards in Athens, the MusikTheater an der Wien received the coveted award for “best opera house,” one of the highest distinctions in the world of opera.
This award recognizes the theater’s exceptional artistic profile, as well as its innovative approach and the quality of its renovation.
