Panthea worked with the Théâtre National de Bretagne to stage a unique adaptation of Jean Genet’s Splendid’s on Zoom, directed by Arthur Nauzyciel.
Performed in English with French subtitles, Nauzyciel’s production was able to reach audiences across borders with the help of Panthea. We worked to integrate our surtitling software Spectitular [S] with the Zoom platform, expanding horizons for live streaming in international theatre.
Across three performances of the play, an audience of more than 1,500 Zoom accounts all around the world joined to watch Nauzyciel in Senegal, Japan, and as far as Australia.
